Conrad Opens Rebranded Hotel in San Juan

The first Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in the Caribbean is the 570-room Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza, formerly the Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino in San Juan. The San Juan hotel completed a $70 million redesign in 2008 of guest rooms, public spaces, the lobby and meetings space.

Each room has a balcony and a view of the Atlantic or the Condado Lagoon. Amenities include a redesigned fitness center, poolside massages, two tennis courts, a beach, three pools, four restaurants and Puerto Rico’s largest casino.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts, a luxury brand from the Hilton Hotels Corp., currently operates 17 properties worldwide. Future developments are planned for Shanghai; Koh Samui, Thailand; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Beijing, among others.
