Cottage Resort Opens on Grand Cayman
Cotton Tree on Grand Cayman is not only the newest property to open in the Cayman Islands but also among the smallest in terms of room count. However, the boutique resort on the northern tip of the West Bay community on Grand Cayman appears to cut no corners in terms of service and amenities.
Caymanian owner Heather Lockington said she built the resort to “showcase our architectural style and service to a targeted clientele.”
Each of the four Cayman-style two-bedroom, two-bath beachfront cottages feature spacious living areas, a modern kitchen, a patio, a spa bathroom, large windows, high ceilings and local art.
Cotton Tree has a spa, a fitness center, pool, bikes, concierge services, and a media library. There is no restaurant, but dining is nearby. Rates start at $999 per cottage, double, through April, and at $699 in low season.
