Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore Set to Open this Month

InterContinental Hotels Group said the Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore will open in early March, following a complete interior and exterior multimillion-dollar transformation.

The new Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore is located in the Westshore business district overlooking Tampa Bay and is less than two miles from Tampa International Airport. Guests will be minutes from the University of Tampa, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa General Hospital and the University of South Florida.

Nearby leisure attractions include Busch Gardens, George M. Steinbrenner Field, Adventure Island, Raymond James Stadium, St. Pete Times Forum and the Port of Tampa located at Channelside.

The 11-story Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore offers 222 guest rooms, 44 of which are Cabana Suites overlooking the tropical courtyard and pool. Guests have access to a variety of amenities to include complimentary airport shuttle, fitness center, complimentary wireless high-speed Internet, a 24-hour business center, an outdoor swimming pool and Pangaea, a full-service restaurant and bar offering eclectic cuisine for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The hotel features the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage, available at all Crowne Plaza hotels in the Americas. Program components include signature bedding, guaranteed wakeup calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips, sleep CDs, sleep tips and amenities such as eye masks, ear plugs and lavender spray.

The hotel has seven meeting rooms with more than 9,000 square feet of flexible, upscale meeting space accommodating up to 700 people, including more than 5,000 square feet of pre-function space.
