Dominican Hotels Packed with Tourists this Winter Season

Hotel occupancy in the tourism zone of Costa Norte (North Coast) during this winter season registers close to one hundred percent, especially by foreign tourists from Canada, the United States, England, France and Germany visiting the Dominican Republic.

Statistics provided by the local Hoteliers and Condominium Owners Association reflect that “practically all of the availability in Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada, Cofresi, Maimon, Luperon, Sosua, Cabarete, Rio San Juan and part of Samana, is fully occupied.”

The Association’s president, Rafael Silverio Galan, said that this winter season is doing very well as a result of effective promotion policies exerted abroad by the Dominican Tourism Ministry.
