First Iberostar Hotel Opens in Brazil’s Copacabana
Spanish hotel chain Iberostar started to operate one of the most prestigious hotels in Copacabana, a five-star lodging, known as the tallest hotel in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, which will be renamed as Iberostar Copacabana.
The 37-floor building –the first one of the chain in Rio de Janeiro and the third one in Brazil- overlooks the beach and has approximately 500 rooms and an spectacular panoramic view of the ocean.
Iberostar obtained the franchise of this hotel (managed by Starwood until now) for a total period of ten years.
