Florida’s Colony Beach Presents Grand Slam Packages

As the Grand Slam tennis season heats up, The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, located on Longboat Key, Fla., announced great value packages for its tennis programming, including a new-year tennis escape.

The Gold and Silver Tennis Packages are available from Jan. 3 to March 10, 2010. Packages include accommodations in a one- or two-bedroom suite for three nights, daily continental breakfast for each adult and two (Silver) or four (Gold) tennis clinics per day, per suite.

Stay three nights and rates start at $100 per person per night. For stays Sunday to Wednesday nights only, guests enjoy an extra 10 percent discount. If a group getaway is preferred, The Colony has redesigned its Perfect Match Package for groups in tournament or club-level competition or those just seeking to practice their game in the warm Florida sunshine.

The Perfect Match Package is created for groups of 10 to 60 in groups of men, women or mixed and consists of three-night accommodations in a suite, daily continental breakfast, group match-play instruction, a tennis happy hour and exhibition, two two-hour private group lessons, unlimited fitness classes and dining credits in the award-winning Colony Restaurants starting at just $100 per person.

The Perfect Match is easily customizable to the meet the needs of each group with options of additional instruction, focused training sessions, demonstrations by the pros, lunch with the pros, round-robins, cocktail receptions, themed dinners, wine tastings and spa services.
