Gaviota S.A. Runs New Hotel in Varadero

Cuban tourism group Gaviota S.A., one of the island nation´s major tour operators, is now running the Playa Alameda Varadero Hotel.

Perched on Cuba´s premier sun-and-sand destination, this 391-room lodging (all air-conditioned) is outfitted with full-fledged bathrooms, independent shower stalls, hairdryer, pay-TV, direct calling phone service, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker, CD player, roomy dressing walk-in closets, minibars and safety boxes.

Located at the end of the Hicacos Peninsula and not far from the Ecological Park, this five-star all-inclusive resort combines great facilities and conveniences hedged with lush tropical vegetation of palm trees that run in rows all the way to the beach.

The establishment is also equipped with four restaurants, a couple of bars, a snack bar at the lobby, a pool for both adults and kids, a conference room, two tennis courts, a cyber café, a fitness center with gym, sauna, massage area, Jacuzzi, drugstore, medical services and hair salon.
