Great Britain´s Hilton Group to Open Three Hotels in Argentina
British hotel chain Hilton is planning to add three more properties in a trio or Argentine cities other than Buenos Aires, where the company landed five years ago.
Hilton Hotels has just signed an agreement to build a new resort in Ushuaia, Argentina´s southernmost city, at an initial price tag of $13 million. This facility will be ready to go in 2007. The other two establishments will be located in Puerto Iguazu and Mendoza.
Like the Buenos Aires Hilton Hotel, local enterprise Yowen will pick up the tab for the building of the new lodging. This domestic company belongs to an undisclosed businessman from Patagonia.
Hilton Hotels will run both properties under the wing of Red Hospitality Consulting.
