Haiti's Club Indigo to Relaunch as All-Inclusive
Club Indigo, one of several Haitian resorts frequented by international travelers to the destination, has closed to launch a multi-million dollar renovation and re-branding that will convert the hotel to an all-inclusive.
The hotel, located at the site of a former Club Med resort in Haiti’s Cote des Arcadins region, will be re-named the Royal Club Decameron Indigo and re-open with 390 rooms on November 1, according to company officials quoted in press reports.
The property will host charter groups from France, Canada and the Czech Republic upon re-opening. Travelers from the French Caribbean territories of Martinique and Guadeloupe will be accommodated later in 2016, said company officials.
