Hilton Debuts New Mexico City Reforma Property
Hilton Worldwide is celebrating the opening of the first managed Hilton Hotel in Mexico City, Mexico: Hilton Mexico City Reforma. To mark the occasion, the hotel, located just steps from the famous Reforma Avenue, is welcoming guests with an introductory rate starting at $99 per night.
This latest addition marks the 24th property for Hilton Worldwide in Mexico. Located at a gateway to the city’s business district and Reforma Avenue, the Hilton Hotel at Avenida Juarez 70, Colonia Centro, is close to major corporations and financial institutions. Just 15 minutes from the international airport, the property with heliport is also close to all that Mexico City’s historic center, including the Palacio Nacional and the cathedral, and a variety of museums and theaters.
Formerly known as a Sheraton, the property has undergone a series of upgrades to incorporate Hilton brand standards. Featuring 458 high-tech guest rooms and suites, the Hilton Mexico City Reforma has luxury mattress, linens, and amenities, as well as state-of-the-art high-speed Internet access, flat screen 37- or 42-inch LCD televisions, work desk, and all the facilities for a productive stay.
The Hilton Mexico City Reforma is home to the largest hotel convention center in the city. The hotel offers nearly 45,000 square feet of meeting space, a 5,015 square-foot spa and 3,100 square-foot fitness center, plus indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Dining options include three restaurants, a lobby lounge and a wine bar.
During 2010, the property expects to debut two new additions currently under construction. A brand new 5,400 square-foot presidential suite will feature one master bedroom with two connecting rooms, kitchen, dining room for 12 people, living room, boardroom, a grand piano, and panoramic views of Alameda Park.
The hotel will also unveil a new executive lounge offering breakfast area and bar service, two boardrooms for up to 12 people each, business center services, four 47-inch LCD televisions, theater room, and lounge area, all complemented by spectacular views.
