Hilton Ends Lease Agreement with Tobago Hotel

Hilton Hotels Corporation announces the decision to terminate the lease agreement of the Hilton Tobago Golf & Spa Resort effective May 16, 2008. This in turn brings an end to Hilton’s management of the property.

The hotel will remain open and operational under the management of Hilton Hotels Corporation until May 15, 2008, at which time the hotel will cease operations under the Hilton brand. As of May 16, 2008, a new hotel operator will begin managing the property.

All bookings for travel through May 15, 2008 will continue to be handled through Hilton reservations systems. Bookings for travel beyond May 15, 2008 will be handled by the resort’s new operating company.
