Hilton Hotel in Bimini to Open in March

The new 305-room Hilton at Resorts World Bimini is due to open in March on the island of North Bimini in the Bahamas.
Facilities at the Hilton will include a rooftop infinity pool and marina pool, Hemingway's restaurant and bar, a spa, a kids' club, a glass pavilion event center and a beachfront amphitheater.
The project was first announced in 2007, and original plans called for the hotel to be a Conrad, one of Hilton Worldwide's luxury brands.
Resorts World Bimini opened in the summer of 2013 on the site of the former Bimini Bay Resort & Marina. The property has a casino and a condo-hotel.
The owner of the resort, Malaysia-based Genting Group, operates a ferry that carries guests from Miami to the resort, a trip of about 50 nautical miles.
The Hilton at Resorts World Bimini joins the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau as the brand's second resort in the Bahamas.
