Holiday Inn San Juan Joins the Millions Worldwide Supporting “Earth Hour”
On March 29, millions of people, as well as governments, companies and communities around the globe, joined together to “turn off the lights” for a period of one hour, to show their concern over climate change.
In solidarity with the worldwide movement, Holiday Inn San Juan turned off its lights from 8:00 to 9:00 at night in all common areas of the property, as well as all exterior decorative illumination.
Likewise, the management encouraged guests to take part in “Earth Hour,” turning off the lights in their rooms. The hotel hosted a candlelit wine and cheese cocktail during “Earth Hour” in the hotel lobby to bring together all guests.
