Global Hyatt Corporation has introduced a new guest concept known as ‘Residential Spa’ which incorporates spa and business facilities in selected rooms worldwide. Global Hyatt has revealed plans to feature purpose-built spa rooms offering a full range of treatments in all new Park Hyatt and select Grand Hyatt properties for guests to indulge in total peace and relaxation.
Globally, Hyatt’s spa rooms are currently enjoying a 70 percent occupancy rate. “It’s a new way of thinking. Hyatt’s design is to create a warm, cozy, culturally appropriate approach to the spa experience in an environment that is comfortable and residential for our guests,” said Gordon Tareta, Director of Spa Operations for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.
Hyatt’s ‘Residential Spa’ concept has recently been implemented in The Barai, which is the brand new Hyatt Regency hotel in Hua Hin, Thailand following great success from other Hyatt Residential Spa destinations including Plateau in Hong Kong, Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok, and Amara at Park Hyatt Dubai.
