The Hyatt Place Los Cabos has reopened following a $7.6 million reconstruction project in the wake of Hurricane Odile.

Well over 80 percent of the destination’s hotels have now reopened, according to the Los Cabos Tourism Board, and virtually all properties have been significantly enhanced during the renovation process.

The 157-room Hyatt Place is no exception to that rule. Enhancements included a reconfiguration of the lobby and the addition of a terrace that affords sweeping ocean views.

“This opening is symbolic as it represents the beginning of a new chapter for the Hyatt Place Los Cabos team, which is looking forward to welcoming guests for many years to come,” said Myles McGourty, senior vice president of Hyatt Latin America and Caribbean.

The property’s food-and-beverage options include a 24/7 restaurant featuring both sit-down and grab-and-go times, and a bar whose offerings include specialty coffees, teas, beers, wines and cocktail.

Other facilities include a 24-hour business center, 1,500 square feet of meetings space and a gym. Hyatt Place offers guests complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi.
