Iberia to Double Capacity on Spain-Brazil Routes

As of September 20, Spanish air carrier Iberia will make a total of 17 return flights a week between Madrid and Brazil, further strengthening its position on Europe-Latin America routes.

In the past six months, Iberia has doubled its seat supply on Spain-Brazil routes, adding flights and using larger aircraft.

Back In April, Iberia added three weekly return flights to Sao Paulo, and as of September 20 it will add two more, for a weekly total of twelve.

In August, the airline added a weekly flight from Madrid to Rio de Janeiro, bringing the weekly total to five. Iberia uses new Airbus A340/300s and A340/600s on the Brazil routes.
