Iberostar to Temporarily Close Properties in Mexico, Jamaica
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has voluntarily chosen to temporarily close two of its Rivera Maya Resorts since Aug. 27, 2009, as well as Rose Hall Beach Hotel, part of their Rose Hall Beach & Spa Resort Complex in Jamaica, effective Sept. 1, 2009.
“This brief closure will give us the opportunity to perform scheduled upgrades and preventative maintenance,” said John Long, vice president, sales and marketing for Iberostar.
Long added that sales are already strong for the reopening of Mexico’s Iberostar Paraiso del Mar and Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resorts. These two Mexico properties will reopen on Sept. 30, 2009.
