Intimate Property Pez Ocean Palace Opens in Tulum

The owners of two hip Tulum resorts, Mezzanine and La Zebra, have opened a third boutique property in Tulum, called Pez Ocean Palace, situated in a secluded, rocky cove overlooking a private lagoon.

The resort has only six rooms, each named after a real or mythical sea creature, including dolphin, parrotfish and mermaid. Despite their seclusion, rooms feature modern amenities such as high-speed Internet and bathrooms with rainfall showerheads and marble sinks.

Facilities and amenities include a swimming pool in a garden setting, a restaurant specializing in Mexican-Asian fusion cooking, a champagne bar and concierge service. Room rates start at $260 a night.
