Key West, Aruba Hyatt Properties Offer New Programs & Services

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino and Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa are offering new programs, services and accommodations.

Hyatt Regency Aruba recently put the finishing touches on four new specialty suites, completing the $20 million makeover that began last year.

From 1,150 to 2,500 square-feet, the new suites are arrayed with Italian furnishings, wrap-around terraces and bathroom elements by French designer Phillipe Starck. The resort’s new EMBRACE Project is part of an ongoing community outreach program for the betterment of Aruba. It draws upon the generosity of staff and guests to restore local landmarks.

The volunteer program launched in May with the cleanup of the Bushiribana Gold Smelter and continues Aug. 25 at the Balashi Gold Mine Ruins. Hyatt Regency Aruba’s Summer Sale is knocking 30 percent off regular rates through Sept. 30. Summer rates at Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino start at $315.

Hyatt Key West’s new Summer Reading Series features Kindles preloaded with novels inspired by the Florida Keys for guests. The series features a new book weekly, as well as a “cocktail of the week” inspired by the storyline at the Blue Mojito Bar and Grill. The Summer Reading Series runs through Labor Day, Sept. 7.

The new YouTube Guest Postcard Program supplies the video camera as well as the technical expertise to shoot “memory postcard” and upload it to YouTube. Summer rates at Hyatt Key West start at $255 per night. The opening of Hyatt Regency Curacao is set for January with rates starting at $359.
