In response to this beeline to book on the numerical phenomenon, Marriott and Renaissance Caribbean & Mexico Resorts are offering an alternative for couples unable to plan their dream wedding on the 777 date
due to supply and demand. The resort group has responded with a Lucky Number Nuptials package, whereby couples can pick their own lucky date, from 7.7.07 through 8.8.08, and partake of a specially priced Caribbean or Mexico wedding package tailored to their own auspicious date at the alter.
The package offers starting rates for a five-night minimum stay from $790 to $1700 per room (based on double-occupancy), plus added value perks for the bride and groom. Couples will enjoy romantic amenities like “breakfast in bed” the day after their wedding, a celebratory bottle of champagne upon arrival, complimentary consultation from the resort’s wedding planner to make their destination wedding truly memorable and unique, and a traditional “lucky charm” from the region they are visiting to bless their wedding and take home as memorabilia.
The package is available at nine beachfront resorts in seven romantic tropical destinations.
