Mandarin Oriental to Introduce Luxury Residences in Taipei

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced an agreement to brand and manage 26 luxury residences that will be developed on a 14-story site adjacent to the planned Mandarin Oriental, Taipei in the heart of the city’s central financial and business district. The project will open in 2010 and is the Group’s first residential project in Asia.

Leisure facilities include a rooftop swimming pool with landscaped gardens, outdoor and indoor residents’ lounges, a comprehensive library and a full-service dining room. The project will also feature a private and underground car park, exclusively for residents. In addition, owners of the residences will enjoy easy access to the facilities of the adjacent 300-room Mandarin Oriental, Taipei.
