Sol Melia and Mexico-based Grupo Questro are relaunching Melia Cabo San Lucas as the new ME Cabo, making it the third property within the ME by Melia portfolio of hotels and the second of the new brand’s experience-based ‘personality hotels’ in Mexico.

Having rounded up a multi-million dollar renovation earlier this year, the property is already the most fashionable hotel in one of the most captivating destinations in Mexico. Under the new brand, Sol Melia also brings its signature Yhi Spa brand to Cabo San Lucas.

As ME Cabo, the hotel becomes part of a select group of seductive, urban and resort destination hotels under the ME by Melia umbrella that will combine an intimate style of warmth and Latin flair while delivering experiences that are an extension of the guests’ individual life-rhythms.

Nestled on the sands of Playa el Medano the property is situated on the only swimming-friendly beach in Cabo San Lucas as it’s protected against the strong currents of Mar de Cortes. Within a short walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops, ME Cabo is set to captivate travelers who have a taste for stimulating art, international cuisine, and world music.

“ME Cabo is one of our most exciting projects to date and we are thrilled to be bringing the second Yhi Spa to Mexico,” says Guy Hensley, Senior Vice President of Operations of ME by Melia. “Cabo San Lucas is a place of passion and warmth and our new hotel and spa are extensions of the rich heritage and stunning beauty of this location.”
