Mexico’s Las Palomas Resort Set to Launch New Spa

Las Palomas Beach and Golf Resort will break ground on a 34,000 square-foot spa this month. Opening in early 2008, The Las Palomas Spa will be the largest center wellness in all of Puerto Peñasco.

Boasting 20 treatment rooms, six of which will offer in-room Jacuzzis, the spa will be outfitted with a sauna, steam room, a wet room with Vichy shower and a Janzu water massage room as well as a beauty salon and boutique.

Using natural materials such as stone, marble, agate, wood, quarry stone and Mexican handicrafts, the Las Palomas Spa will have the feel of a contemporary Mexican hacienda. The Spa treatment menu also will incorporate indigenous local treatments.

As a complement to the spa’s indigenous, botanical treatments, it also will use the French Decleor product line in addition to the Natura Bissé line of products from Spain. Las Palomas Spa is scheduled to open its doors for business in early 2008.
