The Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas reopened on February 15, almost three weeks after the property sustained damage to its exterior facade from a fire, which the Clark County Fire Department determined was sparked from welding activity on the hotel’s roof. Remediation work continues both inside and outside the property.

The hotel opened with no fewer than 1,200 available rooms, while 500 rooms on the upper floors will remain cordoned off and receive more extensive renovation. Most guest services and amenities also resumed this week, including the casino, spa and wedding chapel.

All food and beverage outlets opened as well, excluding the buffet and Monte Carlo Brew Pub, both of which should reopen on February 22. Magician Lance Burton will also resume his show Friday.
