Summer is normally a time for relaxing and enjoying the long days that extend into evening. However, this has not been the case at Montpelier Plantation Inn where they have been busy completing the finishing touches to the new Villa Suite, new Plantation Rooms and various other property refurbishments.

The most exciting change is Montpelier’s Villa Suite, a newly constructed cottage set discreetly on the fringe of the property. Decorated in a chic plantation style that blends easily with Montpelier’s décor, the Villa Suite is ideal for guests seeking a more secluded experience.

It features two bedrooms, a spacious living room opening onto two covered porches, an open sun deck and a plunge pool with exquisite views over Saddle Hill, the rolling countryside and the Caribbean Sea. The bedrooms are air-conditioned for optimal guest comfort and each one has its own in-suite bathroom which includes a semi-outdoor shower overlooking the breathtakingly beautiful Nevis Peak.

Montpelier Plantation Inn is currently accepting reservations for its Villa Suite, which is scheduled to begin accommodating guests in January 2008. Rates for the Villa Suite begin at $500 nightly based on double occupancy.

Starting this October, a new room category will provide another option for guests staying at the property. Aptly called the “Plantation Rooms,” these upgraded accommodations offer elegant new wood flooring, attractive new chairs, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, coffee and tea making equipment and both English and American outlets.

The covered outside porches now have larger and more comfortable seating. The “Plantation Room” bathrooms have also been enhanced with Mahogany-style vanities, vessel sinks, new tile flooring, shower and tub with detachable handheld showerhead and luxurious Elemis amenities.
