More businessmen turn to low-budget airlines
One third of business travelers flew on small-time airlines in the last twelve months, especially driven by saving opportunities, according to a poll taken by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) whose research outcomes will be available later this month.
Moreover, the poll reveals that 37 percent of business travelers made use of videoconferences to save both time and money.
On the other hand, 81 percent of those polled are for the implementation of security technological innovations in airports based on biometrics. A considerable percentage showed interest in those high-tech innovations that allow passengers to surf the Internet onboard planes.
As a matter of fact, three in every five people who took the poll are willing to pay a supplement for the right to get hooked on the world wide web up in the air.
