NCL Corp. is negotiating to sell three of its older ships, according to reports by two European cruise publications. Seatrade Insider, an online newsletter, and Lloyd’s List in the U.K. said that the Norwegian Majesty, Norwegian Dream and Pride of Aloha are in play.

Seatrade reported that Louis Cruises is looking closely at the Dream and Majesty, both built in 1992, for an estimated $395 million. Pride of Aloha, built in 1999, was reportedly of interest to Pullmantur, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s Spanish operator, but Seatrade said that a $310 million offer was withdrawn.

The Pride of Aloha, part of NCL America’s Hawaii fleet, is leaving that market next month to join parent company’s Star Cruises fleet. NCL Corp., which promotes “The Youngest Fleet on the Planet,” declined to comment on the reports, noting that the Dream and Majesty are owned by Star Cruises and that the Pride of Aloha is joining Star in May.
