NH Hotels Opens First lodging in Spain´s Santiago de Compostela

NH Hotels has opened its first hotel in Santiago de Compostela, the NH Obradoiro. The new 5-star hotel will be operated under a lease contract and has involved an investment of €2.5 million for NH Hotels.

The hotel is located in a privileged location. It is in the city´s downtown area, across from the Galicia Auditorium, in a large garden area and a mere 5-minute walk from Santiago Cathedral.

The NH Obradoiro has 159 rooms, including seven suites and provides customers with a full set of facilities in accordance with the NH Hotels standard of quality, decoration and services. All rooms have the services that are a standard feature of the chain, such as Wi-Fi Internet hookup, bath kit, wake-up service, around-the-clock room service and a-la-carte pillows.

The hotel also has a restaurant, where guest can enjoy traditional Galician cooking, five meeting rooms capable of holding 130 people, 83 parking spaces, a bar-cafeteria, buffet breakfast, early-riser breakfast, rooms designed for the handicapped and for non-smokers, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, PCs available, summer terrace, garden, laundry and dry-cleaning service, shoe-shining, medical service, babysitter service, car rental and cloakroom service.
