Puerto Rico’s El Conquistador Resort & Golden Door Spa completed it $120 million property renovation with the opening of Coqui Water Park, the first water park to sit along the Caribbean Sea and overlook the Atlantic Ocean.

Vertical drops and high-speed flume slides boast a combined 362,080 gallons of water. The resort is also home to the private Las Casitas Village, featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom vacation rentals. Located at Marina Village of El Conquistador Resort, the 2.4-acre Coqui Water Park was inspired by the resort’s neighboring El Yunque Rainforest.

Coqui Water Park blends natural rainforest design elements with technology in each action-packed water ride, bringing the 8,000-square-foot lazy river, 253-foot double inner tube slide, high-speed, 40-foot vertical drop, and 26-foot serpentine flume body slide to life.

Coqui Water Park guests also have access to an expansive, 25,554-square-foot sunbathing deck, 9,000-square-foot infinity edge pool, entertaining kids’ pool area with the Coqui kids slide, and intimate dining and function areas for events.
