Puerto Rico’s Verdanza Offers Winter, Spring Packages

The Verdanza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico is offering two packages for winter and spring travel. Verdanza’s Winter Getaway package offers a wide variety of value-added perks. Rates start at $90 per person per night and are valid now through April 30.

The package includes accommodation for two adults, a welcome gift, daily buffet breakfast for two adults, $25 food and beverage credit for use in hotel, one Rondanza-Verdanza signature rum drink per adult, 20 percent discount in massages from Body Healers, and a “free one night stay” certificate for future use with the purchase of three nights or more.

Rates do not include the 9 percent government tax and 8 percent resort fee. The minimum stay is two nights. Up to two children 16 years or younger are welcome to stay in same room with adults at no additional cost. Children under 5 years old eat free at Eighty20 Bistro. The package is commissionable at 15 percent for travel agents.

In conjunction with the Saborea Puerto Rico Culinary Extravaganza, held April 9 to 11 in San Juan, Verdanza Hotel will be offering an Official Foodie Package. The festival features three days of local and international culinary celebrities, live demo kitchens, wine and spirits tastings, and a food tasting pavilion. The package is $939 for one person and $1,285 for two.

Each package includes admittance to Saborea’s inaugural Culinary Beach Soirée, weekend pass to Saborea Village, four days and three nights in a single or double guestroom, welcome drink from Rums of Puerto Rico on arrival, daily full American buffet breakfast per adult, plus, per package, $40 transportation credit and more.
