Punta Cana’s Moon Palace Resort Set for 2009 Debut

Palace Resorts announced that the Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort, located in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic, is slated to open in early 2010. The all-inclusive property is located on Macao Beach.

When complete, Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort will be not only be the largest resort in Punta Cana, but home to 1,791 accommodations complete with double-Jacuzzis, balconies that feature views of either the Caribbean Sea or the resort’s lagoon, premium bath amenities, a fully stocked in-room liquor dispenser that offers premium night caps, as well as a mini-bar replete with sodas, bottled water and domestic beers, an LCD satellite TV, wireless internet access and the exclusive Palace Bed.

The property will also feature 13 large outdoor pools that offer scenic views and swim-up bars, 11restaurants featuring Mexican, International, Italian, Oriental, Seafood and Brazilian cuisine, seven bars each featuring a different theme and top-shelf drinks, a theater with nightly performances, a spa, a Dolphinarium that features choreographed dolphin performances, a lazy river that meanders throughout the resort, and a nightclub.

The new Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort also boasts a 45,000 square foot Las Vegas style casino that will be managed by Southwest Casino Corporation, which will provide guests with poker, Baccarat, Black Jack, Roulette and many other gaming tables, as well as slot machines and electronic bingo. Additionally, the casino also features a sports book.
