The 558-room Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino will launch an agents-only website Jan. 15, featuring access to resort information for the property’s Ocean Suites beachfront complex, the Marina Hotel in downtown Oranjestad and the private Renaissance Island.

“Once agents log on, they can sign up for resort e-letters, download detailed templates and share the package information with clients,” said Rebecca Verschoor-Marval, marketing communications manager.

The site also allows agents to send a complimentary amenity –a bottle of wine, rose petal turndown service or cheese platter, among others- to a guest on their behalf by arranging it on the site. The resort includes a personalized note from the agent upon arrival.

“Agents who sign on are eligible for our new incentive program that pays $10 cash for every revenue-generating room night booked, plus gives a free night for every seven booked,” according to Verschoor-Marval.

The website does not have a booking engine but directs agents to the resort’s main site at http://www.marriott.com/.
