Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman to Open for the Holiday Season
The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman is accepting reservations for the holiday season, a positive sign that the $500 million, 365-room property on Seven Mile Beach will open on December 15.
The resort suffered building delays during Hurricane Ivan last year and caused the planned December 2004 grand opening to be put off for a year.
Standard high season rates from January 3 through mid-April range from $449 to $929 per room, per night, double, in nine room categories. Prices from December 15 though January 3 are higher in each category.
Facilities include the first La Prairie Spa in the Caribbean, five dining venues, several bars and lounges, a shopping arcade, a tennis center, a Greg Norman-designed nine hole golf course and an environmental family program run by Jean-Michel Cousteau.
