RIU Emerald Bay, the 15th RIU resort in Mexico, the 30th in the Americas and Caribbean region and first RIU resort in Mazatlan, will open up its doors in May 2009. The all-inclusive beachfront resort will offer 716 rooms, five restaurants, five bars, two swimming pools and three conference rooms.

RIU Emerald Bay, which is being constructed by RIU, will welcome groups with their three modern conference and event halls: the largest measures 240 square meters and seats 108 people, while the second and third each measure 120 square meters and seat 48. All the rooms have sliding panels and can be opened up into one large, 480-square-meter room.

Located on La Playa de Bruhas, RIU Emerald Bay will offer one buffet dining room featuring cold and hot dishes as well as prepared-to-order dishes. The buffet dining room has themed dinners three times a week offering dishes and entertainment from select countries.
