Sandals Offers Honeymooners Many Options

Sandals Resorts introduced Sea Mist and Caribbean Sunset, the final two wedding packages to complete its collection by event designer Preston Bailey.

Bailey had partnered with Sandals and Beaches Resorts in 2005 to create five signature WeddingMoon packages. The others are Floral Elegance, Water Lily and Crystal Collections.

Sea Mist, priced at $6,000, features traditional white linens and classic china settings. The colorful Caribbean Sunset decor, at $3,600, calls for nontraditional designs in pink and gold and is available only for a twilight event. Both include a Sylvia Weinstock-designed wedding cake.

The new packages will be available at all 12 Sandals resorts in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua and the Bahamas throughout the year as well as at Beaches resorts in Turks & Caicos and Jamaica.

$247 per person, per night, double. The Mini-Moon Romance Reminder includes a 50-minute couples’ massage at the Red Lane Spa; a private, four-course candlelight dinner complete with white-glove service, personalized menus and champagne; a 5-by-7 photo; and in-room champagne, sprinkled rose petals throughout the room, flickering candles and a scented bubble bath.

Under Sandals’ current Fly Free promotion, couples that book a minimum three-night stay by Sept. 2 are eligible to receive an air credit of up to $550 in addition to other savings.
