Sandals Updates Protection Plan with Cancellation Waiver

Sandals Resorts added a cancellation waiver benefit to its existing Travel Protection Plan that permits clients to cancel or change their travel arrangements up to the day of departure.

The travel plan and waiver, priced at $99 for adults and $79 for children, includes protection against cancellation penalties, medical emergencies, baggage damage and delay, and reimbursement for meals and accommodations if travel is delayed.

Agent commission is protected when bookings are paid in full. However, the cancellation waiver does not cover air arrangements and options such as spa services, sightseeing and private transfers.

The travel protection plan and waiver is valid if purchased within seven days of the initial deposit or payment for the trip.
