Secrets Resorts Sets Opening of Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana
Secrets Resorts & Spas, the luxury resort brand offering Unlimited-Luxury vacations for adults only, announced the opening of Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. The property becomes the award-winning brand’s first resort outside of Mexico.
Located on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, the 175-suite, luxury resort offers the largest selection of unique suite types of any hotel in Cap Cana. Ranging from 72 Ocean View Junior Suites to the 600-square-foot Castle Suite and the grand 5,550-square-foot Island Suite situated on its own impressive private island, Secrets Sanctuary will treat every guest to a consummate Unlimited-Luxury vacation experience.
The resort’s Spanish-Colonial design, ocean views and beachfront grounds -- complete with fountains and gardens -- create the ideal setting for leisure and incentive travelers. Guests will also be treated to all the distinctive attributes they expect from a Secrets Resort & Spa -- rooms and suites offer views of the ocean, pools or manicured gardens and feature private balconies, Jacuzzi tubs, plunge pools, amenities by Gilchrist and Soames, in-suite climate control, plasma TV, high-speed Internet and more. Five international restaurants serve gourmet fare and five bars and lounges serve premium brand beverages.
The resort also offers an array of day and evening activities, including tee time access at two Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses, Punta Espada and Las Iguanas. Secrets Resorts & Spas currently has three resorts in Mexico’s Riviera Maya region and is slated to open additional properties in Mexico and the Caribbean by the end of 2012. New resorts include Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid in Jamaica in March 2010, Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa opening in fall 2010, an additional Secrets Resort & Spa in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic and additional plans to enter the Aruba market in 2012.
