Sheraton Mendoza Hotel Opens in Argentina

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced the opening of Sheraton Mendoza Hotel in Mendoza, Argentina, a popular tourist destination in the foothills of the Andes and one of the country’s most important provincial capital cities. Sheraton Mendoza Hotel is the eighth property to join the brand’s growing portfolio in Argentina.

It takes a 17-story tower, the tallest building in Mendoza. The hotel features 180 guest rooms with either cityscapes or dramatic mountain views, a premium spa, ample meeting facilities and the full range of Sheraton signature comforts and services.

Sheraton Mendoza offers a strategic location in the city’s financial district, within walking distance of the Plaza Independencia and the city’s main historic sites. The new hotel is also just seven miles from Mendoza International Airport and convenient to businesses and shopping areas.

The center of Argentina’s wine industry, Mendoza Province is known for its unique Malbec wines and spectacular natural attractions including Mount Aconcagua and world-class skiing in nearby Potrerillos.

The hotel’s 180 guest rooms, including 18 suites, all feature a spacious work area and the Sweet Sleeper Bed, a nine-layer custom-designed ensemble featuring a comfortable, plush mattress, fluffy down hypoallergenic pillows, crisp cotton sheets, cozy blanket and signature blanket and duvet.
