Six Senses Spa Opens in the Dominican Republic

Central to the Punta Cana experience is the Six Senses Spa. Occupying 1,800 square meters in the newly developed club house area and close to the beach, the spa offers ten treatment areas and is surrounded with reflecting ponds.

The eight indoor rooms comprise Thai massage for individuals or couples, a beauty room, a single treatment room and five treatment rooms ideal for couples. Most of the indoor rooms provide spectacular views of the ocean. Each treatments room has its own changing section, relaxation area and steam room.

Two outdoor treatment suites are set right on the beach, surrounded by tropical plantings, a private Yin-Yang bath and a herb garden which provides fresh herbs used in the Juice Bar.

The interior of the spa is decorated with an Asian touch, with large metal gongs incorporated into the local architectural style, sea grape leaves in the indoor relaxation area, and comfortable cushioned day beds.

The Six Senses Spa at Punta Cana presents a range of innovative and comprehensive couples and golfing packages, as well as Six Senses Signature treatments and Asian therapies which include Thai, Vietnamese and Shiatsu - all administered under the expert care of trained therapists.
