Solis Reschedules Palmyra Opening for October

Don’t start packing yet: There’s a new projected opening date for Solis’ Palmyra Resort & Spa in the Rose Hall section of Montego Bay.

The new date is October, pushed back from June, which already had been pushed back a couple of times due to weather and construction delays. The resort wants to open with all of its 299 rooms, suites and villas in operation, according to a spokesman.

Room-only rates will range from $269 per room, per night, double in an oceanview room to $3,500 per night, per villa, in low season. An all-inclusive option will be an additional $175 per person, per day.
