St. Lucia’s Windjammer Landing Offers Free Weddings

St. Lucia’s Windjammer Landing resort is offering a free wedding package when couples stay for a minimum of 10 nights. The package includes a choice of scenic beach or garden ceremony, a marriage license, certificate and registrar fees, a taxi to the lawyers’ office, bouquet for the bride, button hole for the groom, table arrangement at the wedding venue, chilled sparkling wine, wedding cake, scented candles in the wedding room and a romantic continental wedding breakfast in the villa the day after the wedding.

The free wedding package is worth $1,099. The bride and groom to be will also receive flowers and champagne in their room upon arrival and will be treated like royalty as the resort’s policy is to host only one wedding per day. This enables the two wedding coordinators to give them their undivided attention.

Any family or friends wishing to join the newlyweds will also receive a 20 percent discount off food and accommodation to mark the resort’s 20th anniversary as well as Sun Dollars, which are resort credits to spend on services at the resort including the Serenity Spa, excursions, upgrades and the mini mart, starting from $353 per week.

With 161 luxury villas and suites Windjammer Landing is equipped to cater for the largest of wedding parties, including those which involve children. Unlike many Caribbean resorts Windjammer is family friendly, with a Kids Club and activities program and has extensive experience in catering for weddings that involve children.

The free wedding package is available with a minimum of 10 night’s stay, all inclusive staying in a resort villa and is available with bookings made before the end of 2010. Weddings must be taken by Nov. 30.
