Starwood Picks Westin Resort and Spa Puerto Vallarta Latin American´s Best Hotel Chain in 2004

The Westin Resort and Spa Puerto Vallarta has just been named Starwood´s best lodging in Latin America, the establishment´s PR Manager Maripepa Gonzalez informed this week.

According to Mrs. Gonzalez, a number of elements has made the resort grab the Starwood Hotel of the Year award. Financial outcomes, guest satisfaction, compliance with quality standards and abidance by the trademark´s guidelines were some of the factors taken into account, she said.

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. is one of the world´s leading companies with a stock of 750 properties in some 80 countries and a payroll of 120,000 employees worldwide.

Some of the chain´s top hotels and assets are St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin Regina Puerto Vallarta, Four Points by Sheraton, and Starwood Vacation Ownership Inc.
