Sunquest Releases 2009-2010 Dedicated RIU Brochure for Costa Rica

Sunquest has released the 2009-2010 edition of its dedicated RIU brochure, which features RIU’s full lineup of resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, and new this year – Costa Rica.

Along with the addition of the RIU Guanacaste in Costa Rica, set to open on Oct. 30, 2009, Sunquest and RIU are anticipating the opening of the brand new RIU Emerald Bay in Mazatlan next month on May 29, 2009, which will coincide with the start of Sunquest’s new summer charter service out of the West to this destination and will expand east for next winter’s program.

This brochure brings with it early booking bonuses, including savings up to $780 per couple when booked and paid by Oct. 31, 2009, for travel between Dec. 24, 2009 and Apr. 30, 2010 (completed stays).

Another brochure highlight is the free Weddings and Renewal of Vows packages available at nine RIU resorts, including RIU Emerald Bay in Mazatlan, RIU Guanacaste in Costa Rica, RIU Bachata in Puerto Plata, RIU Montego Bay, RIU Ocho Rios, RIU Palace Tropical Bay in Negril, RIU Palace Paradise Island in Nassau, RIU Palace Punta Cana and RIU Santa Fe in Los Cabos.

RIU’s wedding packages range from $695 to $2,495, depending on the package selected, and renewal of vows packages range from $565 to $2,355. Please note that prices are valid between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2010, for 2009 prices please visit weddingsbyRIU.com. In addition, your clients can save 15 percent on their RIU wedding package if they book at least 90 days prior to arrival at the applicable resort.

RIU is also offering a number of exclusive promotions for groups, including up to $1,000 in travel and merchandise. For instance, Group Leaders Stay & Fly for Free (some exceptions apply), and wedding groups (a minimum 10 rooms booked at least 120 days in advance of departures) receive two gifts: a $500 Future Travel Voucher for the wedding couple to be redeemed by Oct. 31, 2011, and a gift voucher valued at up to $500 for the wedding couple to use at the exclusive Sunquest boutique.

For families, there are several RIU resorts that offer facilities, as well as kids’ deals where two kids stay, eat and play for free at a total of 21 resorts, including RIU Emerald Bay, RIU Guanacaste, RIU Yucatan, RIU Montego Bay, and more. For those RIUs where kids are not free, Sunquest has a lower all-inclusive rate for them.
