SuperClubs Announces 9th Annual Open Golf Tournament for 2008

SuperClubs has unwrapped the details of its upcoming 9th Annual Open Golf Tournament for 2008, scheduled to take place in Cuba’s Varadero Beach from Nov. 17 to 20 in its first week, and from Nov. 24 thru 27 in its complementary week.

This year the Tournament will be hosted by Breezes Bella Costa. The participants staying at the Super-Inclusive resort will have the opportunity to enjoy a week of activities and three days of tournament at the Varadero Golf Course.

Situated on the most spectacular of the Cuban beaches, the Varadero Golf Course is the only 18 holes par 72 course in Cuba. It attained international prestige when, in 1999 and 2000, the Grand Finale of the European PGA Challenge Tour took place featuring Professional Golfers from all over Europe.

The Varadero Golf Club provides a unique atmosphere at its Club House, the famous
Mansion “Xanadu”. Its bar, “El Mirador” offers a spectacular view of pleasing contrasts between the soft green of the golf course and the turquoise blue of the sea surrounding it.

Breezes Bella Costa is just 50 meters from the seventh tee of the Varadero Golf Course. • Low net champion Male 7- Night stay with a companion at Breezes Bella Costa with unlimited green fees at the Varadero Golf Course from April 1 to December 15, 2009
• Best gross champion Female 7- Night stay with a companion at Breezes Bella Costa with unlimited green fees at the Varadero Golf Course from April 1 to December 15, 2009
• Best gross champion Male 7- Night stay with a companion at Breezes Bella Costa with unlimited green fees at the Varadero Golf Course from April 1 to December 15, 2009
• Low net champion Team 7- Night stay at Breezes Runaway Bay for each member of the team to be taken April 1 November 30, 2009 (subject to availability)
• Best gross champion Team 7- Night stay at Breezes Runaway Bay for each member of the team to be taken April 1 November 30, 2009 (subject to availability)

The Tournament will take place over a four-day period and will consist of three rounds of golf and three categories: male, female and team. Players can make their own twosome (team) regardless of gender, but Foursomes will be arranged by the Golf Tournament Organizing Committee.
