SuperClubs Looks to Jamaica Growth

SuperClubs Resorts is strengthening its senior management positions among its hotels in Jamaica, specifically in Runaway Bay and Negril.

This restructuring move will streamline operations, creating a more cohesive management network in the region to ensure the overall quality of the SuperClubs product remains consistent. The transition will not affect day-to-day operations at the resorts, or alter the guest experience. SuperClubs has 21 hotels open or under development in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Latin America.

“By re-engineering our management setup, we’ll preserve our resorts’ commitment to great value and exceptional amenities packages while achieving greater efficiency and better utilizing the extraordinary depth of talent that exists within the company,” said Executive Chairman John Issa.

SuperClubs’ strengthened structure for growth comes at a particularly opportune moment of expansion and new openings. Its first Brazilian Starfish resort, the 203-room Starfish Santa Luzia celebrates its soft opening on September 13.

Rooms, on the beach, Negril premiers on December 15 in Jamaica, while construction continues at two Latin America ventures: 300-room Breezes in Playa Blanca, Panama, and 330-room Breezes Buzios, near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
