Utell Hotels & Resorts expands in Latin America

Utell Hotels & Resorts, a service of Pegasus Solutions, announced it has signed two properties from Chilean Resort & Casino company, Enjoy, to its representation and marketing services.

The two five-star properties, Hotel del Mar in Vina del Mar, and Hotel del Lago in Pucon, are among a total of five (including three planned) under the Enjoy brand that will join Utell's electronic distribution and international marketing efforts.

Given the growth of travel to Latin America, the need to more strategically reach customers has grown for properties such as Enjoy's, according to Piro Hernandez, regional director of Latin America for Utell.

Utell has 181 hotels in Latin America and the revenue for these properties has increased 25 percent over the last year. With this revenue growth potential, Utell is ideal for handling the needs of properties emerging on the global tourism scene, according to Eduardo Garcia Fanta, sales manager for Enjoy.
