Hotel chain Viva Resorts launched last week its “Viva Residence” product aimed at the residential tourism market, to start in Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata and Las Terrenas, Samana.

The real estate development will include Mexico, Bahamas and Brazil and will include Bayahibe, La Altagracia, in the country’s coast east

Architect Antonio Imbert designed Viva Residence in Las Terrenas, with around 70 units among apartments and villas in front of the sea, clubhouse, gym area for children and lobby, with construction set to begin in May. Other comforts of the project will be a larger parking area to serve guests of the Viva Samana and of Viva Residence hotels.

In a gala presentation in Santo Domingo’s Hotel Embajador, Viva Wyndham Resorts president Ettore Colussi said the offer includes several a la carte restaurants, modern spa, and a swimming pool which wraps internally around the project.

The Viva hotel chain executive said these properties have a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, discothèque, spa and gym, boutique, stores, casino, the complex’s golf course and the hotel’s services.
