World Medical Tourism Congress to Take Place in California’s San Francisco

World Medical Tourism & Global Health Congress, the largest Medical Tourism Convention in the world and the official event of the Medical Tourism Association, announced its upcoming congress this year on September 9 to 12 in San Francisco, California, USA.

The Congress has a lineup of expert senior healthcare leaders from organizations such as the American Medical Association (AMA) and Procter & Gamble, one of the largest employers in the U.S., to large U.S. insurance carriers such as United Healthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Guardian Life Insurance Company.

Over 30 health insurance companies have registered for this event, as well as many health insurance consultants and employers. Over 100 hospitals from over 40 countries have registered for the event, and the event will feature approximately 50 exhibitors from all over the world.

Exhibitors will range from insurance providers, to hospitals, to tourism boards to stem cell therapy companies. The official sponsors of this event are Costa Rica, Singapore, Korea, Philippines, Monterrey, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Barcelona, Australia, India Trent Accreditation Scheme, and the International Medical Spa Association.

The new Medical Tourism Association Accreditation Program will also be discussed at the upcoming congress, with a focus on how the new Medical Tourism accreditation program will ensure quality and patient safety.
