Wyndham Assumes Management of Bahamas Resort
Management of the 550-room Wyndham Nassau Resort in the Bahamas has shifted from Baha Mar Resorts to Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Baha Mar, which owns the resort, had signed an agreement last May to also manage the property.
Wyndham will now oversee daily operations. Jeffry Humes is the newly appointed managing director. The resort as well as the adjacent Crystal Palace Casino is part of Cable Beach Resorts, owned by Baha Mar Development Co. The resort also includes the 694-room Sheraton Cable Beach Resort. Still to come are Westin, W and St. Regis hotels.
