JetBlue Airways begins new nonstop service between the island of Aruba and its home base, New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The daily flight will increase to seven the number of Caribbean/Atlantic destinations served by the low-cost airline.

Swiss International Airlines announced that it will add a new frequency to the five weekly flights it operates between Santiago de Chile and Europe beginning in late September.

Delta Vacations expanded its Caribbean product line with packages to 13 resorts in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, effective from October 25 with travel commencing on December 15.
The launch happens together with the start of Delta´s daily nonstop service between Atlanta and Puerto Plata.
